Movie time...

Let talk 80s movies. Here a a couple of my favorites.

"Screws fall out all the time, the world is an imperfect place." Ah, "The Breakfast Club". Great acting, great writing, great soundtrack, great movie. I haven't seen it in a good while but, man, this flick is really a classic 80s movie. I really had a thing for Molly Ringwald after seeing this movie (what dude didn't?). Check out the trailer (I don't think I've ever actually seen it before):

Next, another 80s favorite of mine. "The Goonies". "Sloth loves Chunk!" Hard to believe the most successful actor out of the whole bunch ended up being the big brother (Josh Brolin). I wish they made more movies like this nowadays. Real kids (not computer generated) having cool adventures. Doesn't sound too hard...I will say this trailer could've used a bit more work though. It's not really a good idea to name all the characters...Mouth, Data, Bran, Stephanie, Chunk as you show them....there are better ways to go....oh well, check it:

Last but not least, a movie that I don't think I actually saw in the 80s because I thought it would suck. I mean, a movie about a princess and love and all that gooey kind of stuff is not what a teenage boy is usually into so I don't think I saw this until I was well into my twenties. When I did finally see it though, I loved it. I love everything about this movie. Great story told in a fun way. Lots of funny scenes. I still can't get my Jack to watch it though (he's 6)...guess I'll have to wait until he's twenty-something. Of course, I speak of "The Princess Bride"

And finally, I leave you with some wise words from the Hoff:
