Aw yeah! Pump up the jam, pump it up. A lot of videos were so much simpler back in the day. Just show people dancing and some flashing lights. This chick isn't even doing that much. Nothing fancy. She let's her jam speak for her. I'm pretty sure I could make this video on my Mac in about 15 minutes. The dude got game though.
You can pretty much skip the first 30 seconds of this song but when it starts kicking in at :28, I think this song is one of the better chick rap 80s videos. The video isn't that great and the choreography is pretty horrible and I think the lip syncing could use some work but I dig the song.
Salt and Pepa's here. I dig those jackets they're wearing but I have no idea what the hell they're talking about in this song :) If you put Salt-n-Pepa, JJ Fad and Technotronic in a cage fight, my money is on Salt-n-Pepa. Come to think of it, I bet Salt OR Pepa could take all the rest of them.

Now, I know this song isn't form the 80s but I'm feeling old and I like it. I heard it at the Toby Keith bar in Vegas a couple of years ago and thought it spoke to guys getting on up there in age (uh…like me…)
Wow. Check this out. The first cell phone ad from 1989. I wonder if they had Angry Birds on that bad boy. How far we've come, eh? Look at the antenna on that "mobile" phone. You could probably call somebody on the moon with that freaking thing. I wonder how they carried it around? Can you imagine somebody hauling that thing around on a belt clip? It probably cost $5k too.
